Oil pastel drawings (with backgrounds)

 As you can see from my last post I started to experiment with oil pastels. I wanted to continue experimenting with the same techniques  although this time I created backgrounds for the oil pastel drawings. The backgrounds have been created by using the dragging process. I used thick printing ink and dragged it using strong cardboard. When the dragged backgrounds dried I then started to add the oil pastels over the top. I used brightly coloured oil pastels in order to make sure that they looked eye catching and drew attention away from the backgrounds.
