Work inspired by Marcus Payzant

From researching Marcus Payzant I have created my own style from using my own primary photographs. The piece below has been created using coloured chalk pastels for example colours such as, browns and greens. Payzant uses bold blocks of colours which can be compared to my inspired piece. I have used bold colours of reds and greens which have then been outlined with brown chalk. The only problem with this piece is that it lacks bright colours. Payzant uses bright colours in order to make it look eye catching, but this piece looks dull and could be seen as a bit bland. I am going to make sure that if I experiment more with chalk I am going to add brighter colours .
