Unit 4 "Inside, outside and in between"

My internal idea was to show how buildings have effected nature. I wanted to focus on the strength of nature and how it can take over buildings.

  From this, I had the idea of looking at erosion, this is when plants and nature break through man-made objects. Following the theme of "inside, outside and inbetween" I believe that erosion could fit in to this, as the outside nature comes together to meet the man-made objects of the inside. I have a few methods in mind that I would like to use in my exam pieces. I believe that dry point prints would look fantastic for erosion, I am also going to focus on my paintings, varying colours and contrasts.
